AECL is currently providing specialist Noise and Vibration services to the Balfour Beatty - Carillion Joint Venture, who is undertaking the refurbishment of the East London Line.

The East London Line will form part of the London Overground Network, which will also include the North London Railway.

The Project includes the complete replacement of the track and signalling systems, the refurbishment of existing stations.  The civil engineering works include the construction of two large new bridges, four new stations and a new depot at New Cross Gate.

AECL have prepared Section 61 Applications for the Project and have provide specialist noise and vibration monitoring equipment.  The length of the Project means that it spans four separate Local Authorities.
